Peter Navarro Defends Russian Oil Criticism Amid India-US Trade Tensions

U.S. presidential counsellor Peter Navarro addressed questions over the possible impact of a proposed U.S. bill that could impose a 100% tariff on India and its implications for ongoing India-U.S. trade negotiations. Responding to ANI, Navarro said U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have a “very good working relationship” and that the two leaders would work out the issue themselves. He said it was not his place to get between the two leaders or their discussions.
