Union Minister Smriti Irani scolded an Amethi official on a phone call over the issue of non-payment of dues to retired teachers in her parliamentary constituency. In the phone call, the Union Minister fumed at the district inspector of schools for allegedly not releasing dues of retired teachers. Smriti Irani accused the official of not following the orders of the Yogi government in the state, adding that every constituent in Amethi is connected to her.
