Hayden strikes 158 before rain intervenes

Matthew Hayden scored a magnificent 158 as Australia piled up 322 runs against West Indies in Antigua before heavy rain forced a halt to play. It was the highest in the World Cup by an Australian, beating Andrew Symonds's 143 not out against Pakistan four years ago, and followed his fastest World Cup century ever versus South Africa last Saturday. Australia coach John Buchanan rated Matthew Hayden's innings of 158 against West West Indies on Tuesday as one of the best in his career.
