Pakistan suspends Asif

The Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday suspended pace bowler Mohammad Asif after he failed a dope test in the Twenty20 IPL. Senior board official, Shafqat Naghmi said that the board would assist the ICC, World Anti-Doping Agency and the IPL in enforcing the anti-doping regulations in Asif case. Meanwhile, Asif's lawyer Shahid Karim confirmed that he would challenge the positive test in a bid to prove his innocence.
