Ukraine struggles to defend Bakhmut; Zelensky laments ‘painful’ Donbas battle

Russian forces are now engaged in a street fighting with Ukrainian troops in a bid to capture Bakhmut. Ukraine claims that its Army is digging in their heels to defend the 'fortress' city. The Deputy Mayor of Bakhmut confirmed that street fighting was raging on and that Volodymyr Zelensky's men were doing all they could to fend off Russian attacks. Meanwhile, the Russian Defence Ministry released a new video of the fighting in Bakhmut. It shows soldiers approaching a building under a dense smoke screen, throwing grenades at the 'enemies,' who were shooting back. The Russian soldiers can be then seen breaking into the building.
