Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov launched a fierce attack on the West, accusing the U.S. and its allies of using sanctions, seizures and “invasions” out of fear of losing global dominance. Speaking in Moscow, Lavrov claimed the Western-led system no longer guarantees profits or control, forcing Washington into “dishonest competition” against rivals like Russia and China. The remarks came as Donald Trump weighs renewed military pressure on Iran after stalled ceasefire talks. Lavrov also pushed for a “multipolar world,” warning against Western “dictatorship” while backing closer Russia-China co-ordination through BRICS and the SCO.
