Hezbollah Warns Israel As Netanyahu Mulls War Against Iran-backed Group; ‘Prepare To Deal With…’

Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, warned Israel against waging a war on the Iran-backed militant group in Lebanon. Qassem said another potential war by Israel would cause “large losses” on the other side. He said, "If they think such a war would allow the 100,000 displaced people to return home... we issue this warning: prepare to deal with hundreds of thousands more displaced." The warning came as Netanyahu reportedly warned security chiefs during a strategic discussion on Thursday that Israel was facing a “large-scale confrontation” with Hezbollah.
