Watch | Butterfly season picks up in Mexico

Mexico's Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve opens for tourist visits as the migration season picks up, but conservationists aren't estimating how many of the threatened orange and black butterflies there are just yet. The conservation effort for this butterfly is not limited to the Mexico borders. Mexico is closely working with the United States and Canada. According to surveys the monarch butterfly population is only 15% of what it once was two decades ago, but the situation is gradually improving.
