Watch | Giant panda cub on it’s public debut in US

Bei bei is a 4-month-old giant panda cub ready to make his first public appearance. He belongs to an endangered species with only about 1800 giant pandas left in the wild and 350 in captivity.He's one of the four pandas at the Smithsonian's National Zoo, Washington DC along with his mother, Mei Xiang, his father, Tian Tian, and his 2-year-old sister, Bao Bao. The pandas belong to China. After they turn 4, they will return to China and join the breeding program there.
