A Florida zoological society welcomed two endangered Bengal tiger cubs, putting them on public display at their Miami conservation centre.The female cubs named “Amira” and “Nura” are siblings born on April 9 at a private zoo in Texas.They were moved to the Miami-based Zoological Wildlife Foundation at three weeks of age, the organisation said in a written statement.Amira is an orange-coloured tiger and Nura is white.They were named for the Arabic words “Princess” and “Light” respectively, and the pair will join five other Bengal tigers at the centre.Video released by the centre shows the pair exploring their enclosure on May 19.Bengal tigers are native to Asia with the majority of the 2,500 wild animals left found in India, according to the World Wildlife Fund.
