'Year of India' function celebrated in Moscow

In an extravagant event, Indian President Pratibha Patil and her Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev arrived at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow on Thursday to celebrate 'Year of India' function. Among a variety of events, a concert 'Sahasra Patra' was held at the festival, which was aimed at showcasing the rich culture and tradition of India. Both the leaders expressed their delight at the event that provided an opportunity for the people of both the countries to get an insight into each other's culture.
