Researchers in Holland, which measured the sex performance of nearly 500 men from five countries against the clock, found that Britons averaged 10 minutes before reaching climax, The Sun reported Friday.

Americans managed to hang on for a decent eight minutes, the Dutch 6.5 and the Spanish 4.9 minutes, according to the research conducted by the University of Utrecht and published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

Turks came last, clocking up an average 4.4 minutes.
