"Instead of directly sending process (issuing summons, etc.), it would be appropriate to send the matter for inquiry and report by concerned police station," magistrate RK Kshirsagar of Andheri court said in the order.

According to Avinash Kumar Dubey, the lawyer of the complainant Naseem Bano, the film has a scene in which Kumar stamps on a replica of `786', a number considered sacred by a particular community.

The complaint also names the producer and the director of the film. The court asked the police to file a report by February 11.
