Karan, who came into the limelight as a television actor with shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Parrivaar, Dill Mill Gayye and Qubool Hai, made his full fledged debut in films with this year’s horror flick Alone that had Bipasha in the lead.

“Bipasha and I are close to each other. We spend time together...we work out together. We really enjoy each other’s company,” says Karan. In fact the two of them posted a Diwali selfie together dressed in traditional attire. However, the actor plays it safe by adding the often repeated line: “We are just good friends.” Karan was earlier married to television actors Shraddha Nigam and Jennifer Winget, but both his marriages failed.

Ask him if he is scared of commitment, and Karan says, “I am not scared of commitment. In life, one does end up making both right and wrong decisions. But we try not to repeat the same mistakes.” Karan will be seen next in the third part of the Hate Story film franchise. The film, directed by filmmaker Vishal Pandya, is an erotic thriller, and also stars Zarine Khan, Daisy Shah and Sharman Joshi.
