Gurmeet Choudhary beefs up for Wajah Tum Ho

The actor had to transform his body to shoot for a song sequence in the film.

After doing TV shows such as Ramayan and Punar Vivaah, and Bollywood movies such as Khamoshiyan (2015) and Hate Story 3 (2015), Gurmeet Choudhary is set to act in yet another thriller. A source says the actor had to beef up for a song in the film, but had to later lose weight for another movie he had to shoot for soon after. The source says, “Since Gurmeet will be seen shirtless in the song, he had to be in good physical form. For that, the actor followed a strict diet and weight-training regime.”

The song’s shoot was supposed to take place in Georgia in May, but it was delayed due to heavy rains. The shoot was then rescheduled. The source adds,“The timing (for the song’s shooting) posed a problem for Gurmeet.

After the Georgia shoot was cancelled, Gurmeet had to get back and shed the muscles he had gained. He shot for the other film in September, but after that, Gurmeet barely had a gap of 15 to 20 days to work on his body again. He managed and finally finished shooting for the Georgia sequence last week.”

Gurmeet says, “I try my best to look different with each of my characters. When you have to shoot for two movies at the same time with two different looks, your job gets tougher.”
