Irrfan Khan’s latest Hollywood film, aninstalment of the Jurassic Park franchise, released last week. The movie has got one of the biggest box-office openings worldwide. Its collections stand at $204.6 million in the USA, and `20.55 crore in India, in the first week.

Irrfan, who has also been part of other Hollywood projects such as The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Life Of Pi (2012), is apparently garnering praises from all quarters for his role in the film, and is constantly being bombarded withcongratulatory messages, calls and mails from friends in Bollywood and fans from across the world.

A source close to the actor says, “Lots of people have praised Irrfan’s performance and the justice he has done to his character in the film.”

Meanwhile, Irrfan salutes his fans for making the movie successful. The actor, who is currently shooting in Budapest, Hungary, with American film-makers Tom Hanks and Ron Howard, says, “I am overwhelmed with the huge response. I want to thank my fans for their unconditional love and support. My fans are my inspiration.”
