Neetu Kapoor on Friday shared a new picture of herself, posing with filmmaker Rohit Dhawan’s newborn baby and his family. She captioned the picture, “Baby Rohit Dhawan and her admirers.” The picture also has Sanjay Dutt’s sister Namrata and Rohit’s mother Lali Dhawan.
Rohit, son of director David Dhawan and brother of actor Varun Dhawan, announced the birth of his daughter in early July. Varun also posted a picture of the immediate family posing with the baby, wearing matching t-shirts. Their titles - Chachu No 1 for Varun, Daddy No 1 for Rohit—were all puns on the titles of David Dhawan’s movies (who also wore a T-shirt saying Dadu No 1). David is the director of films such as Coolie No 1 and Hero No 1, both starring Govinda.
Rohit is a Bollywood director who most recently worked with Varun in the action comedy, Dishoom. He has previously directed Desi Boyz, which starred John Abraham and Akshay Kumar.
Neetu recently returned to India after an adventurous birthday vacation in Paris, which was arranged by husband Rishi Kapoor. Her daughter, Riddhima, took on the responsibility of sharing birthday pictures with the rest of the world, although the pictures have since been taken down. Her updates revealed that Ranbir Kapoor also took time out to visit his mother in Paris.
Ranbir is currently riding high on the success of the Sanjay Dutt biopic, Sanju, which has already earned over Rs 500 crore worldwide.Ranbir’s girlfriend, actor Alia Bhatt also wished Neetu on social media.
In a recent interview to DNA, Rishi Kapoor expressed his desire to see Ranbir get married and have children of his own. “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone,” Rishi said.
