Tata Motors has finally gone on sale in the Indian market. The manufacturer has already secured over 70,000 bookings. If you are one of them, then you must be wondering when the deliveries will begin. Well, Tata Motors has announced that deliveries of the Sierra will begin on January 15th. The initial batch of deliveries will be of the higher variants, followed by the mid-spec and lower-spec variants. Waiting period would depend on the colour option, variant, powertrain and city.

Tata Sierra is available in seven variants. They are Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+.

Tata Sierra specs
The Sierra is available with three engine options. Tata Motors has introduced two new petrol engines from its Hyperion series. The first choice is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 104 hp and 145 Nm of torque. This engine can be combined with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The second petrol option includes a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that generates 157 hp and 255 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Regarding diesel options, there is a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that offers 116 hp. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The torque output is 260 Nm with the manual gearbox and 280 Nm with the automatic.
Tata Sierra features
In terms of features, the Sierra establishes itself as one of the most equipped SUVs within its category. The higher-end variants offer a triple-screen configuration that includes a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch display for the front passenger. Additional notable features consist of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, a 12-speaker JBL audio system, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
