DDA earns ₹1,321 crore from mega e-auction of land, property assets

A commercial plot in Karkardooma attracted 36 bidders and fetched more than 10 times its reserve price

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) generated ₹1,321.21 crore through a mega e-auction of land and property assets against a cumulative reserve price of ₹480.38 crore, officials said on Wednesday.

An institutional plot in the area emerged as the most actively contested asset in the auction, drawing 20 bidders and recording 3,160 bids. (HT)

In a statement, the DDA said the auction witnessed robust participation from investors, institutions and businesses, resulting in strong value realisation through competitive bidding.

The e-auction offered 142 land and property assets across Delhi, including residential, commercial, industrial and institutional plots, group housing sites, built-up commercial shops, multilevel parking facilities, kiosks and other licence-fee-based assets located in various parts of the city.

“The e-auction achieved a total highest bid value of ₹1,321.21 crore against a cumulative reserve price of ₹480.38 crore, realising nearly three times the reserve price and generating a premium of approximately 175% over the aggregate reserve price,” the statement said.
