SIX! Rutherford is playing a gem here, sadly, it doesn't seem to be enough. A low full toss, wide outside the off stump, Rutherford reaches out and stylishly lofts it all the way over the cover fence for a biggie.

WIDE! Another attempted full and wide one, too wide for the umpire's liking.

Full and outside off, driven straight to extra cover.

SIX! That sounded so sweet off the bat. Short of a length, over middle, sits up as well. Rutherford picks it up and clobbers the pull shot deep into the stands beyond the mid-wicket fence.

A swing and a miss. Back of a length and outside off, Rutherford leans back to pull but misses. He wants to review it for a wide, not quite sure why but MI don't have any reviews left.

WIDE! Full and wide outside off, lands past the tramline for a wide.

SIX! FIFTY up for Sherfane Rutherford, his maiden IPL half-century. A waist-high full toss from Shepherd, angling into the batter. Rutherford swivels and pulls it flat over deep backward square leg for a six. Rutherford feels this is above waist height and takes the review for a No Ball not given. The third umpire confirms that Rutherford's waist height is 1 meter, and the ball was at 0.97 meters, close but not close enough.

Bhuvi keeps the length full and lands it almost perfectly at the batter's toes. Rutherford flicks it to mid-wicket for a single. 45 needed off 6 balls and barring any extras, it's game over for MI.

Full on middle and leg, dug out through mid on for one more by Santner.

That's a top delivery. Bhuvneshwar Kumar nails the straight yorker, Rutherford can only manage to jam it into the turf. The ball goes over the bowler's head and they get a single.

Too full, around leg, Rutherford looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the front leg.

FOUR! Put away with ease. A low full toss from Bhuvi, on the pads, and Rutherford clips it down to fine leg for a boundary.

SIX! An over filled with three wides and three big hits, nothing in between. Short of a length, and outside off, Sherfane Rutherford leans back and swings with the angle, nailing it over deep mid-wicket for a biggie. 21 off the over and still, it's under-par.

WIDE! No chance of a review this time. Full and well wide of the off stump line, Rutherford extends his arms but can't reach it.

Another review, this time by Sherfane Rutherford for a wide not given for height. Short ball around off, comes in at helmet height and Rutherford fails to pull it away. The third umpire is called into action once again and technology confirms that Rutherford's head height is 1.87 meters, whereas the ball passed at a height of 1.80 meters. No wide!

WIDE! Pace off again from Duffy, short and wide outside off. Rutherford looks to slap it over point but misses and a wide is called. Once again, RCB review it. The third umpire checks it again and this time, he finds that no part of the ball is inside the wide guideline. The wide call stays.

SIX! A mile high in the air but pretty long as well. A juicy full toss around middle and off, Sherfane Rutherford nails the lofted shot and whacks it well over long on for a biggie.

Bowled from around the wicket, slower and shorter into the pitch, wide outside off. Rutherford throws his hands at it but fails to connect.

SIX! A low full toss on off stump, Rutherford gets under the flight of the ball and powers it over the long on fence for a biggie.

Good review. This time on the off side. Slower one, slightly short, it is the off cutter that goes away from the left-hander and is called a wide. Rutherford hops up to hit it over the off side but misses. Duffy feels this is a harsh call and after pondering for a while, Rajat Patidar reviews the wide call. The third umpire checks the replays and finds that the ball is passing inside the wide guideline and the on-field decision is changed.

WIDE! Full ball, sprayed down the leg side, Rutherford looks to whip it off the pads but misses.

Another one that is delivered shorter, this is bowled over middle and Santner swings across the line, failing to connect. 75 needed off 18 balls, at a required rate of 25 runs per over.

Full and straight, Rutherford leans on and drills it down to long on for just one more.

Another short ball, pace on this time and dug in over middle, Santner forces the pull shot in front of mid-wicket and picks up a single.

FOUR! Nicely done. Slower one, bowled well short and outside off, Mitchell Santner hangs back before angling it away wide of short third for a boundary.

Full and in line with the leg pole. This is firmly driven to long on for a run.

Gets the yorker in, right at the toes. Sherfane Rutherford clears the front leg and whips it to the left of long on for a couple of runs.

Shepherd picks up two wickets in two balls, but wait, neither of them will count. Pitched up full again, at the stumps, Sherfane Rutherford goes hard at it and skews it towards extra cover. Rajat Patidar takes the catch but it is a Free Hit and the batters pick up a single.

Can you believe it? You simply cannot fathom it. Romario Shepherd comes on to finish off Rasikh's over, just one ball to bowl and gets the dangerman Sherfane Rutherford, but hang on, ROMARIO HAS OVERSTEPPED. It is a No Ball as the siren goes off and Rutherford will have a go at the Free Hit. Coming to the delivery, this is bowled full on leg stump, Rutherford looks to flick it off the pads, but ends up skying it high towards mid-wicket. A plethora of fielders run towards it but it is the bowler who calls for it and reaches towards the ball, dives in and pouches it brilliantly. However, it all goes in vain.

Oh, that's well bowled and once again Rasikh is down on the ground. Gets the yorker in, just outside the line of the off stump. Rutherford looks to play the cover drive but the ball sneaks past the under edge. This could be another stoppage in the game.

Good-length delivery, on middle, bowled slower too, Mitchell Santner pushes it out through covers for a single.

OUT! CAUGHT! Rasikh Salam might be struggling with his fitness, but he's got a wicket here. Rasikh peppers that hard length and bowls it just outside off. Naman Dhir stays back and looks to power it through the off side but gets it high on the bat. The ball gets lobbed towards extra cover, where Rajat Patidar takes a simple catch, and Rasikh is pumped up with that wicket. 87 needed now off 27 balls.

Goes for the yorker, ends up bowling a very low full toss on off, Rutherford punches it down to long off for a single.

SIX! It's go big or go home time and Sherfane Rutherford has just deposited that deep into the stands. Slower one into the pitch, sits up nicely for the batter. Rutherford picks it up and whacks it handsomely in front of deep square leg for a biggie. And the cramp is also back for Rasikh, not a good sign for RCB.

Drifts down leg, very full. Sherfane was better off leaving this one but he bunts it in front of mid-wicket for a single.

Hurls it on a hard length, outisde off. Dhir slaps it to deep point and opens his account with a single.

OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! First wicket of the night for Duffy and a big one at that. Duffy slips in the full ball and the line stays outside off. Hardik makes the shuffle again and swings hard at it. He loses his shape and ends up slicing it in the air off the outer half towards deep backward point. Romario Shepherd takes a few steps in off the ropes to settle under the skier and takes a safe catch. Hardik's fight comes to an end and MI suffer another blow in the chase.

A proper short ball this time by Duffy. Hardik Pandya walks across the stumps and gets his hands high to connect but misses.

FOUR! Smart batting! On a hard length, another off-cutter, on off. Pandya waits for the ball to arrive and opens the bat face to thread the gap between short third and backward point and picks up a boundary.

He stretches both hands to his left but the ball hits him around the wrist and then trickles into the ropes.

Dishes out the googly and gives the ball a lot of air. Full and outside off. Sherfane swings at it and mishits it off the inner half to deep mid-wicket. Just a single.

This is slower and fuller, outside off. Sherfane reaches out and smears it to long on for a single. Krunal Pandya is done for the night. He finishes with figures of 4-0-26-1.

Beaten! Krunal digs it in short, going away at 101 kph. Sherfane Rutherford rises with the bounce and gets his hands high to flay at it but is beaten for pace.

OUT! CAUGHT! Krunal Pandya strikes on his return to the attack. He celebrates the wicket by bowing to someone in the dugout. Suryakumar Yadav is in disbelief. Tossed up, on the pads. Suryakumar gets down on a knee for the sweep but gets the height and not the distance. It is skied to deep backward square leg, where Rasikh Salam settles himself under it and is aware of where the rope is. He calmly completes the catch and SKY has been sent packing. FOUR! Nicely done! Another over in this innings where the last ball of the over goes for a boundary. On a good length, outside off. Yadav extends his hands and cracks the drive. Hits it well away from the man at deep extra cover to his right.

Acrobatics from Pandya! Suyash attacks the stumps, full in length, on middle. SKY punches it on the up back towards the bowler. Suyash moves to his right and makes a half-stop as the ball clips his fingertips before rolling down to long off. Hardik falls on his back while trying to get back before springing back up on his feet.

FOUR! Streaky! A real drag down by Suyash, outside off. Hardik Pandya swings hard at it, almost swings himself off his feet. One hand comes off the bat handle. The ball flies off the outside edge wide of short fine leg for a boundary.

It would have been a wide had Suryakumar left it. Another under-par over for MI, 9 runs off it. Into the strip, beyond the tramline. SKY hops and reaches out but gets it off the outer half to short third. MI need 133 runs in 54 balls.

In line with the off stump, full in length. Hardik crunches it to the right of extra cover and crosses over.

Second time in this over, Bhuvneshwar has gotten away with a full toss. Outside off, Hardik flays at it but fails to connect.

An appeal for LBW, turned down. The keeper, Jitesh Sharma, seems particularly excited, and the captain, Rajat Patidar does take the review. Nice and full again, on leg stump, Suryakumar Yadav gets inside the line to sweep it fine but misses and gets hit on the pads. The third umpire is called into action and finds nothing on UltraEdge. However, Ball Tracking shows that the ball is missing the leg stump and it stays NOT OUT.

OUT! CAUGHT! Oh, that's a soft dismissal and Tilak Varma cannot believe it. Another fullish delivery from Suyash Sharma, this is bowled outside the line of the leg stump. Tilak Varma sits down to sweep it fine but ends up getting a soft top edge towards short fine leg. Jacob Duffy takes a sitter of a catch and Suyash gets two wickets in his first five deliveries.

Quicker one on middle, SKY hops back and across a bit, whipping it wide of long on but just for a single.

A shorter googly, turns away from middle and leg, Varma rocks back and flicks it to deep mid-wicket for a run.

Floated up full and on the pads, Tilak Varma nurdles it into the leg side.

OUT! CAUGHT! Straight up in the air and Ryan Rickelton perishes. Suyash Sharma starts off with a googly, bowling it on a fuller length and outside off. Rickelton sits down to slog-sweep it away but ends up hitting against the turn. He gets a big top edge that gets ballooned behind the stumps and towards short third. The keeper goes for it but Bhuvneshwar Kumar at short third calls it well and calmly takes the catch. MI are effectively two down now if Rohit is unable to bat at all.

FOUR! Ends the over well, does SKY. Krunal attacks the stumps, Suryakumar Yadav gets inside the line and picks it up and over backward square leg for a one-bounce four.

This one is fired into the pads, Rickelton goes down to sweep but is beaten for pace. The ball thuds the pads and rolls away to the right of short fine leg for a leg bye.

Fullish length around off, Yadav strides forward and drives on the up, a bit uppishly and to the left of the bowler to long off for just one more.

Slower through the air again, bowled full and on off. Ryan Rickelton looks to go for the big heave on the leg side but is undone a bit and gets an inside edge past short fine leg for a single.

Krunal slows it up and drifts it into the pads. Yadav picks it up and whips it between deep mid-wicket and long on. Devdutt Padikkal gets to it from long on, running to his right and keeps it down to two runs.

FOUR! Gets it through! A boundary off the last ball spoils what was turning out to be a fine over from Rasikh Salam. Rasikh gets the length wrong as he dishes out a full toss, on off. Rickelton makes him pay as he drills it wide of cover for a four.

Nails the yorker, on middle. Rickelton can only dig it out back to the bowler.

Excellent delivery! It is that back-of-the-hand slower ball at 110.7 kph, full and going across off. Ryan Rickelton presents a straight bat for the block but is beaten on the outside edge. Rickelton acknowledges the quality of the ball with a nod and a smile.

SIX! Picked up and dispatched! Bhuvneshwar Kumar errs in both line and length. A bit too full and this is on the pads. Rickelton needs no second invitation as he keeps a still head and picks it up over deep backward square leg for a biggie.
