Mayank hasn't been able to perform against CSK since his IPL debut and the India batter has not scored a half-century against them in more than 10 innings.

Onus will be on Rahane, whose powerplay strike rate of 222.22 is the best among all the batters in this year's IPL.

Ahead of the match, SRH captain Aiden Markram said, "I'm not 100% sure yet. Naturally, we just landed yesterday and we've just come to the field now. So we'll have a look at the pitch now and if it suggests it's going to spin then it would be silly not to try find another spinner that we can have at our disposal. So yeah, once we've assessed the conditions and also had a look at the previous games, we'll see which 11 or 12 we can select."

England all-rounder Ben Stokes has regained his fitness and is likely to play today's match against SRH. Though batting hasn't been much of a concern for CSK in this IPL Stokes' experience will be handy in the middle order and if he rolls his arms over for at least a couple of overs then it could solve a lot of issues for MS Dhoni.
