Chasing 182 for victory, Bangladesh cricket team scored 82/2 in 27.1 overs, cruising to an eight-wicket victory in their tri-nation ODI against Ireland cricket team in Dublin on Friday -- their first win in the ODI series that also features New Zealand. Opener Soumya Sarkar starred in the run chase with an unbeaten 87. Earlier, Mustafizur Rahman’s 4/23 helped Bangladesh restrict Ireland to 181 and a 95-run opening wicket partnership between Tamim Iqbal (47) and Sarkar set the tone for the victory. After their first game in the One-Day International tournament, a warm-up for next month’s ICC Champions Trophy in England, against Ireland was rained off, Bangladesh lost to New Zealand by four wickets.
