Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, Asia Cup 2022 Final Highlights: SL win their 6th title, beat PAK by 23 runs in Dubai

Babar brings back his go-to man Haris Rauf but he has just been smashed for back to back boundaries by Hasaranga! Lots of worried faces now in the Pakistan camp. 

The partnership between Rajapaksa and Hasaranga has swollen to 48 off 32 balls. Hasaranga is on 26 off 16 while Rajapaksa has scored 37 off 28. What a fightback this has been.

Shadab tosses it up on leg, Rajapaksa dances down the track and hammers it over the bowler's head for his fifth boundary. 

What a shot that is! Sri Lanka finally have a partnership going. Short from Hasnain and Hasaranga flays it fine for the first six of the innings. Sri Lanka 99/5 in 13 overs. 

Late cut from Rajapaksa and that runs behind to the boundary. Now then, Pakistan wouldn't want these two to get a partnership going here. 

Second boundary of the 11th over, Shadab has bowled a rare expensive one here. Flat at a length around off, Hasaranga rocks back and cuts it behind square.

Pakistan's match all the way. Some brilliant bowling from them, coupled with a couple of rash shots in recent overs from Sri Lanka has put them firmly in the driver's seat in these first 10 overs. 

Poor from Dasun Shanaka, going for a big cross-batted shot after just facing three balls. He misses it, maybe gets a tiny bottom edge and the ball takes the stumps. Shadab Khan gets his first wicket of the match.

Dhananjaya tries to hit it over the bowler Iftikhar Ahmed's head, ends up hitting it straight into his hands. Sri Lanka in real trouble now. That's Iftikhar Ahmed's first international wicket in 2 years!

Nicely done by Rajapaksa. Shadab bowling the seventh and he sends one in that straightens a bit from round the wicket. Rajapaksa plays with soft hands and nudges to the third man boundary. 

What an exhilarating period of play that was. Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah breathing fire and SL batters taking cover. Except for Dhananjaya de Silva, who seems to be the only one who has come to terms with the Pakistan bowlers. He hasn't really been able to get too much strike in the last two overs, in fact he was not on strike at all in the 6th over, and has made in 24 in 15. 

Rajapaksa gets a boundary off his first ball but he would know that is a lucky one. Thick outside edge and the ball absolutely races away to the boundary because it was delivered at 153kph. 

Oh the stumps might just have broken in half! That torpedoes in at 151kph and smashes into Danushka Gunathilaka's middle and off stump.

That's his fourth boundary, all of them have been glorious front foot drives through and over the covers. This time he goes on the backfoot and sends the ball through that region. He is on 24 off 15. 

Good catch from Babar Azam running backwards from mid-off. Nissanka miscues his lofted shot down the ground and Haris Rauf has got a wicket off the second ball of his 1st over.

Or at least that seems to be the case for now. This time it is Pathum Nissanka against Naseem Shah. He makes the ball pitch in the batter's half of the pitch and Nissanka leans into a glorious drive. Sri Lanka 20/1 after 2.3 overs. 

Another fullish half volley from Hasnain and this time, Dhananjaya goes over the top of the in-field to send the ball to the boundary. Second cover drive this over and this one was more glorious than the last. Hasnain not found his line yet. 

145kph from Mohammad Hasnain but it's nicely in the slot for new batter Dhananjaya de Silva. He leands into a lovely cover drive and the ball races away to the boundary.

Kusal Mendis gone for a golden duck, his stumps are a complete mess behind him. That is pure gold from Naseem Shah, Mendis had as much idea of what to do with that delivery as we would rthat delivery as we have right now of an asteroid that strikes the Earth in the next 15 minutes. 142kph, tailing in and then seaming in, it clips - or rather singes - Mendis's pads before slamming into the stumps.

Naseem Shah starts the final off with a wide, bowling to Pathum Nissanka with Kusal Mendis at the end. Here we go!

The two sets of players have lined up and the respective national anthems have been played in the stadiums. Pakistan then go into the team huddle while the Sri Lankans go back inside. 

As stated before, Babar hasn't quite fired for Pakistan in this tournament but his opening partner Mohammad Rizwan has been absolutely imperious. He has scored 226 runs so far and can overtake Virat Kohli to end up  as the tournament's highest run scorer. 

The atmosphere is absolutely electric with a number of Pakistan and Sri Lanka fans in the crowd. This is it!
