Third afternoon game at the Wankhede... and the players are making their way into the middle. RCB openers Kohli and Faf are in green. 

Virat Kohli, with just 216 runs in 11 games at an average of 21.60, will look to convert his starts into big scores after spending time at the crease in the last two outings. He is set to open alongside Faf du Plessis and the pair will eye a steady start to help the Bangalore side forget memories of the 68 all-out contest.

One of the key battles of the game will be Virat Kohli vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The star batter hasn't had much success against the Orange Army in the past four seasons. In the last 10 meetings, Kohli hasn't scored a half-century versus Sunrisers. He faces Bhuvneshwar, who had dismissed Kohli thrice in 13 meetings. Stay tuned… live action coming soon.

"It's humid and really scorching heat temperatures today. Expect to see a lot of sixes. I'm looking for wear and tear. Most certainly, there's a lot of dryness in areas where we're looking to have that turn. Don't be surprised if you see the ball holding up in today's match," reckons Matthew Hayden.

"Even with the quicks, the hard length balls and cutters will be hard to score. It's probably a 175-180 wicket. Whoever wins the toss I assume will bat."

Is losing the toss a blessing in disguise for Williamson? He has the lowest strike rate among batters to score 150-plus runs this season... and chasing at the Wankhede could help the Sunrisers skipper find his lost mojo.

"Was due to lose one. Was undecided but we have been chasing well. Important we do the job with the ball upfront. Have two changes. Abbott and Gopal miss out. Farooqi and Suchith come in," says Kane Williamson.

Two changes for Hyderabad. Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi gets an opportunity while Suchith replaces Shreyas Gopal.

"We'll bat. Nice to win the toss from Kane, he's been winning the tosses. Big confidence for the group from the previous game. Same team. Nice thing with our bowling attack - got quite a lot of options. Siraj is doing the work in the nets, he's training hard, the performances will come," says Faf du Plessis.

"There is not much to do (in the bubble life) apart from playing cricket and training, so any time you get out of that bubble, it also helps in team bonding. We played against them at Brabourne, and hopefully it's revenge time today," says Josh Hazlewood.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will be sporting a green jersey as a part of their 'Go Green' initiative. 'Go Green' initiative has been a huge part of RCB's culture ever since it was started back in 2011.

The franchise played its first-ever game with green jersey back in the 2011 edition. It was against now-defunct Kochi Tuskers Kerala.

"Virat Kohli will benefit from the time he spent at the crease in the last two innings. The strike rate could've been better but today is the day I feel," Ravi Shastri told Star Sports before the game.
