Cooler days ahead: IMD

"The minimum temperature was recorded a notch below average at 19ºC," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

Humidity wavered between a high of 83% and a low of 28%.

According to the IMD, the temperatures will begin to fall gradually from Monday. The days will be hot but the mornings and evenings will be pleasant. "The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 34ºC and 20ºC on Monday," the official said.
