Five residents make city proud
Five residents from various backgrounds made the city proud by winning the prestigious Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award on Thursday.

Five residents from various backgrounds made the city proud by winning the prestigious Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award on Thursday.
Though they have different tastes and aspirations, they have one mission — serve mankind. They are KL Sardana, an NRI, Dr Ashok Taneja, Prithvi Raj Aryan, Giri Raj Dhingra and Pankaj Dawar. KL Sardana has been living in the US for last 21 years and is a member of advisory committee NRI cell Government of Haryana. Dr Ashok Taneja, a heart specialist and senior vice president of IMA, Haryana chapter was awarded for his contribution to the society by organising free health camps.
