"Till a final decision is taken, we still consider the Trinamool a valuable ally," Congress general secretary Janardan Dwivedi told reporters in New Delhi.

"The issues raised by Mamata Banerjee will be discussed with the government," Dwivedi said, stressing that the matter would "indeed" be discussed with the government.

Banerjee had announced in Kolkata that her party ministers will resign from the government on Friday and that her party was withdrawing support to the United Progressive Alliance-2 government headed by the Congress.
