After JEE Main results, the top 2.5 lakh candidates can apply for IIT JEE Advanced. Those who want to take admission in NITs, IIITs and other government funded technical institutions will have to participate in JoSAA counselling. Those who want to get into private colleges have to apply for institute-level counselling.

4. View scorecard and take a printout.

JEE Main exam is conducted on multiple shifts and sessions and it is possible that the difficulty level of a paper may be on the higher side compared to another. To resolve this, NTA uses a method of normalisation to convert raw scores of candidates into percentile scores. 

In JEE Main scorecards, candidate's name, roll number, subject-wise score, percentile score and other details will be mentioned.

As NTA has released final answer key of JEE Main 2022 session 1, results of the test is expected today, July 7, on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Follow the latest updates here. 

A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

JEE mains result date have not been officially announced yet. However, as per past trends, the result is expected on the day when final answer key is released. 

Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) - 2022.

There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

JEE Main 2022 session 1, paper 1 (BE/BTech) and paper 2 (BArch/Bplanning) exams took place from June 23 to 29, 2022. 

A copy of the Final Scorecard of JEE (Main) – 2022 will be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidates.

Evaluation of multiple-choice questions of B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning will be carried out using final answer keys and the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of JEE (Main) - 2022.

For multi-shift papers, raw (actual) marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score.

NTA will announce names of toppers – those who score 100 percentile marks – along with other result statistics like number of applicants, number of qualified students etc. The all India rank list will be published after session 2 exams.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the session 2 for JEE Mains, 2022 from July 21 to 30, 2022 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various exam centres across the country.

The result of JEE (Main) - 2022 of the candidate(s) who indulge in Unfair means Practices will be cancelled and will not be declared. Similarly, the result of those candidates who appear from the Centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate/person to write the exam on his behalf will be cancelled. No plea will be entertained in this regard.

The merit list of JEE Main result 2022 will be prepared by conversion of the raw score in Mathematics, Aptitude Test, Drawing Test, and Total into NTA Scores. The overall merit shall be prepared by merging NTA Scores of both shifts of all days.

JEE main cut off is likely to increase this year. NTA will only publish results of candidates during session 1. All India Ranks (AIR) and cut-offs, which will be used for counselling, will be available only after session 2 exams.

JEE main 2022 result date is awaited. The declaration of result date has not been done by National Testing Agency yet. As per many media reports, the result will be announced likely this week.
