JEE Final Answer Key 2023 for Session 2 has been released. 

NTA will announce JEE Main cut-off marks – minimum marks required to appear in JEE Advanced soon. Aspirants can check it here, when available on the official website.

NTA has dropped a total of 10 questions, from question papers of various shifts of session 2, in the final provisional answer key of JEE Main.

As per existing rules of NTA, when a question is dropped, marks are awarded in this manner:

Four marks will be awarded to all candidates who wrote the paper, irrespective of whether s/he has attempted it or not.

For non MCQs: Four marks will be awarded to only those who have attempted the question.

This is applicable to paper 1 (BE/BTech)

The JEE (Main) 2023 was conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu language.

Those who score equal to or more than cut-off marks in JEE Main can apply for JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced 2023 registration will begin on April 30 at jeeadv.ac.in. This year, IIT Guwahati will administer the entrance test.

On JEE Main scorecards, NTA scores of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the total NTA score is mentioned. In addition, all India ranks of candidates are also published on scorecards.

JEE Mains Session 2 Exam 2023 was conducted by NTA on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15, 2023 at various exam centres across the country.

Tie between candidates obtaining equal Total NTA scores in Paper 1:

B.E./B.Tech will be resolved in the following manner in descending

order:

1. NTA score in Mathematics, followed by

2. NTA score in Physics, followed by

3. NTA score in Chemistry, followed by

4. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect

answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test, followed

by

5. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect

answers and correct answers in Mathematics in the Test, followed

by

6. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect

answers and correct answers in Physics in the Test, followed by

7. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect

answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the Test followed by

8. Older in Age followed by

9. Application Number in ascending order

The merit list/scores/result of JEE (Main) – 2023 may be utilized by other Entities of Central/State Governments with their eligibility criteria/norms/applicable regulations/guidelines/rules.

There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

For admission to NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutions based on JEE Main, candidates have to apply for JoSAA and/or CSAB counselling. JoSAA couselling is also a single-window for admission to IITs and it begins after JEE Advanced result is declared. CSAB counselling is held once seat allocation through JoSAA is over.

Those candidates who meet the cut-off mark for JEE Advanced can apply for the IIT admission test. NTA will publish these cut-offs along with results.

JEE Mains Result has been declared. IIT JEE registration will begin tomorrow, April 30, 2023 onwards. Candidates can apply for JEE Advanced on the official site of IIT JEE at jeeadv.ac.in. 

Economically Weaker Section (GEN- EWS) – 10% of seats in every course.

Non-Creamy Layer (OBC- NCL) – 27% of seats in every course.

Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15% of seats in every course.

Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 7.5% of seats in every course.

JEE Mains Result 2023 for Session 2 has been declared. Candidates can check the result and scorecard through the direct link given above. 

The record of Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) - 2023 would be preserved up to 90 days from the date of declaration of the result.
