As Dhurandhar The Revenge continues to break box-office records, many are discussing its heartbreaking ending. The spy thriller shows Ranveer Singh’s Jaskirat Singh Rangi shedding his Hamza identity and returning to India. While viewers have appreciated the ending’s realism, many have said it was heartbreaking. Now, a content creator has used artificial intelligence (AI) to solve that and give the film a happy ending.

AI gives Dhurandhar 2 a happy ending

On Tuesday, content creator Unseen Friend shared a carousel post featuring AI-generated images of Yalina (Sara Arjun) and Jaskirat (Ranveer) getting married in a traditional Hindu wedding. “Dhurandhar 3: The Reunion,” the caption simply read. In the film, Jaskirat has to flee Pakistan after dismantling the Pak terror network headed by Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal) and leave his life as Hamza behind. In the process, he is forced to leave behind his wife, Yalina and their son. The scene of their final goodbye in the film has been hailed by many fans as one of the most emotional moments.

The new pictures show Yalina and Jaskirat reunited in India and getting married. The wedding also features Jaskirat’s childhood friend Pinda and Aalam, two characters killed in Dhurandhar 2, who are also present, as are SP Aslam (Sanjay Dutt) and Jaskirat’s family in India. Director Aditya Dhar is also present, applying mehendi to Yalina, which has a special ‘Thank you Yami’ text.

Fans react

Reacting to the pictures, one fan commented, “The ending everyone wanted. Aalam bhai is also a part of the wedding its good.” Another added, “I certainly felt something was missing at the end of the film... this was missing... the beautiful, happy ending with their wedding and with their family's blessing... only if it did finish like this.. it would have been satisfying.” One fan summed up the sentiment, saying, “Oh, these made my heart full,” as another wrote, “Oh this healed us!”

However, not everyone was a fan of the sanitised happy ending. “He tried to show the reality of the spies and how they protect us by sacrificing their own family life, etc., and ppl here want happy endings like Kjo’s movies, and if they show this ppl would say all fake nautanki etc etc,” one fan complained.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 has grossed over 1400 crore worldwide and is still going strong. The spy thriller stars Ranveer Singh alongside Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
