Actor Bobby Deol has shared throwback pictures from his wedding in 1996 to honour his 25th wedding anniversary with wife Tanya. See the pictures here.

Actor Bobby Deol, on his 25th wedding anniversary, wrote a special note for wife Tanya on Instagram. The actor shared a bunch of their pictures together, from candid moments over the years to their wedding day in 1996.

He wrote in his caption, "My heart,my soul. you mean the world to me. love you forever and ever. happy 25th anniversary," and added heart emojis. While the first and fourth pictures showed Bobby and Tanya hugging, the second and third pictures were from their wedding ceremony.

Their industry friends and colleagues showered them with love in the comments section. Chandan Roy Sanyal, who appears in the streaming series Aashram, which stars Bobby as a corrupt godman, wrote, "shubhkamnayein." Cricketer Suresh Raina commented, "Happy Anniversary," and Prateik Babbar dropped heart and fire emojis.

While Bobby and Tanya have been reticent about discussing their personal lives, she spoke about their courtship in a 2009 interview with designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Asked about how an 'uppity South Bombay girl met this Casanova film star', she said, "I went to play cards during the Diwali season at Chunky's (Panday) house, and Bobby came and he sat with me and we played cards at the same table. He kept losing to me, but he wouldn't pay me, he kept saying he'd take me out for a meal. I was like 'what's wrong with this guy?'"

She continued, "And then, a while later, he called me up. It was at some absurd hour at night. And I was fast asleep. So I pick up the phone and I say to him, 'I'll call you tomorrow'. He says, 'you don't know who I am?'" She said that Bobby called her again at a more acceptable hour, and they ended up speaking for seven hours.

The couple has two kids, Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol. Bobby is the second son of actor Dharmendra and his first wife, Parkash Kaur.

After several years out of action, Bobby made a comeback to mainstream films with high-profile projects such as Race 3 and Housefull 4. He was seen in the cop drama Class of 83 and the web series Aashram last year. Next up, he will be seen in Netflix's Penthouse, and then in Love Hostel and Animal.
