Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and actor Ranbir Kapoor unveiled the teaser for their upcoming film, Ramayana, in Los Angeles, USA, on Tuesday. A fan pulled Ranbir’s leg at the event and told him he ‘loved’ his work in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar films. Here’s how the actor reacted when humorously ‘mistaken’ for Ranveer Singh. An X (formerly Twitter) user named Vishal Mishra posted a selfie he took with Ranbir at the event. Posting it, he wrote, “I told him I loved his work in Dhurandhar and he started saying “No that is a different Ranveer..” before @niteshtiwari22 cut him off and told him I was pulling his leg with the Dream11 ad!” He also posted a link to the advert, adding, “the ad - one in a series of brilliant ads Nitesh made for @harshjain85 and @Dream11.”

When an X user asked Vishal, “lol what was his response then,” he replied that Ranbir laughed at it, writing, “He paused, said 'oh' and started laughing.” For the unversed, the Dream 11 advertisement released a year ago shows Aamir Khan repeatedly referring to Ranbir as 'Ranbir Singh' after his ego is hurt. The two stars butt heads over it, and Ranbir even remarks that Aamir wouldn’t like it if he called him Salman Khan. Numerous Indian cricketers, Arbaaz Khan and Jackie Shroff also feature in it.
