Madhuri Dixit’s husband Dr Shriram Nene shared a video on Instagram in which he was seen sampling the food made by their elder son, Arin. Watch it here.

Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr Shriram Nene, teased their elder son Arin as he turned chef after a long time. Shriram joked that his act of volunteering to taste the dish prepared by Arin first is a clear indicator that he likes ‘living on the edge’.

Madhuri Dixit’s husband Dr Shriram Nene shared a new video on Instagram, also featuring their son Arin.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Dr Shriram Nene was seen eating a spoonful of the food made by Arin as Madhuri Dixit burst out laughing. He wrote in the caption, “Arin’s first cook in a long time and I volunteered to be a taster. Clearly, I like living on the edge. But boy, did he nail it #firstcook #proudfather.”

Fans reacted to the video. “The wife is loving the reaction, so all good,” one commented. “Look so yummy. Proud of you Arin,” another wrote. “Much fun in nene’s house,” a third said.

Incidentally, Shriram is skilled in the kitchen himself. Madhuri, speaking with a leading daily earlier this year, said that he was ‘definitely a better cook’ than her. “Ram had a French cook there (in the US), and he assisted him as a sous chef. So, he has learnt a lot of recipes, which he can make from scratch - be it continental, French or Italian cuisine,” she said. She often shares cooking tutorials on YouTube, with many of the videos featuring Shriram.

Meanwhile, Arin recently graduated from high school ‘with flying colours’. Madhuri shared a glimpse into her and Shriram’s ‘proud moment’ by sharing a family photo, in which Arin could be seen wearing a graduation robe and cap.

“A proud moment for Ram and I, as Arin graduates from high school with flying colors. Congratulations Arin and to the graduating class of 2021. We appreciate how hard this year has been for all of you and we salute your resilience, strength, hardwork, and focus to rise above the situation and succeed,” she wrote on Twitter.

Madhuri will soon make her digital debut with the Netflix series Finding Anamika.
