Nawazuddin Siddiqui's mother files FIR against his wife Aaliya over property dispute, case registered

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's mother filed an FIR against his wife Aaliya. A case has also been registered by the Versova Police.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's mother Mehrunisa Siddiqui has filed an FIR against the actor's wife Aaliya. As per news agency ANI, the Versova police has called her for questioning. It is alleged that Aaliya had an argument with Nawazuddin's mother according to the Versova Police. (

As per the police, there is a property dispute between Nawazuddin, his mother and Aaliya alias Zainab. A case has been registered under sections 452, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Zainab is Nawazuddin's second wife as per the report. Nawazuddin tied the knot with Aaliya aka Anjana Kishor Pandey aka Zainab over a decade ago. They are parents to son Yaani Siddiqui and daughter Shora Siddiqui.

In 2020, Aaliya had sent a legal notice to Nawazuddin demanding a divorce. She had also stated the reason behind her decision to part ways. Aaliya had alleged that she was subjected to domestic violence. She claimed that though Nawazuddin never raised his hand at her, his brother Shamas Siddiqui hit her.

In 2021, however, Aaliya reversed her decision to divorce Nawazuddin. Speaking with ABP News, Aaliya had said, “Earlier, he was never able to pay attention to his children. But now, I am really surprised to see him like this. Both me and Nawaz will try together to remove all the problems between us. Going forward, we will sort all the problems and misconceptions. We have been talking about this.”

After Aaliya first opened up about her wish to mend her marriage, Nawazuddin had told Bombay Times, "I prefer not to talk about my personal life, and I have never spoken ill of anyone. I don’t let negativity and hatred get to me. She is still the mother of my children, and we have shared a decade of our life together. I will always support her no matter what."

Nawazuddin was last seen as the antagonist in Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria-starrer Heropanti 2. He has several films in the pipeline slated for release soon.

He will essay the role of a transwoman in Haddi. It is directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, who also co-wrote it with Adamya Bhalla. Nawazuddin also has Kangana Ranaut's production, Tiku Weds Sheru in the pipeline. He will also be seen in Bole Chudiyan, Jogira Sa Ra Ra Ra and Afwah.
