"It's painful to be away from her, but who has a life without pain? Any guy in a relationship should pinch themselves no matter who they're with and I am no different with Gwen (Stefani)," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Rossdale as saying. "It would be nice to wake up to Gwen every morning, but I haven't seen her for a while so I'm waking up next to myself which isn't as exciting to me," he added.
