Yo Yo Honey Singh says he had to put in a lot of efforts to woo girlfriend Tina Thadani: 'I met her in Dubai'

Honey Singh spilled the beans about his love story with Tina Thadani. He said they met for the first time in Dubai and later collaborated for work.

Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh recently revealed how he met his girlfriend Tina Thadani via friends in Dubai. Tina featured in Honey Singh's new song Paris Ka Trip. Recalling working with her, the singer said he felt different around her on the sets. However, in his words, impressing her wasn’t so easy.

Honey Singh announced his relationship with Tina three months after his divorce was finalised last year. He was earlier married to Shalini Talwar. Around the time of his divorce last year, Honey announced his new album Honey 3.0. and later in an interview said he was in love again.

Talking about his relationship, Yo Yo Honey Singh revealed how the two met. He told Bollywood Hungama, “The first time I met Tina was when we were in Dubai, before which we used to only talk and had not met in person yet. So, first time when I met her in Dubai, we both were with our own group of friends, due to which we couldn’t talk much”.

“We met on the sets, and I felt something different, more like she is mine. So, eventually I had to put a lot efforts to woo her and finally she agreed upon it. She has drastically changed my life. She knew a little about my early life already. I gave her more details and insights of my life so that someday she does not get to know something suddenly that would shock her or put her in thoughts that she should have known that particular information earlier,” he added.

Honey Singh made his relationship public at an event in Delhi. He walked holding hands with Tina. Later he took to the stage and pointed towards her. He said, “Meri girlfriend baethi hai Tina, isne mujhe ye naam dia hai. Isne bola ki you are Honey 3.0 This is the third one (my girlfriend Tina is sitting here, she has given me this name, Honey 3.0).”

Ever since then, the couple keeps sharing glimpses of their lives with each other on Instagram. In some Instagram Stories, the singer is also spotted addressing Tina as ‘Jaan.’ His latest post featuring her read, “Happy New Year to all the lovers!! Its lover’s season not hater’s season #yoyo @tinathadani #yoyohoneysingh."
