Sukriti Veni, the 14-year-old daughter of renowned filmmaker Sukumar, recently made her screen debut with Gandhi Thatha Chettu. And the young and budding star is being championed by her BFF, actor Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni.

Sukriti and Sitara are friendship goals
In a cute video, going viral on the social media, Sukriti and Sitara are definitely giving us friendship goals. They look radiant and excited to share an exciting news with audience.
The video starts with Sukriti announcing Gandhi Thatha Chettu is now available on Amazon Prime Video for streaming. Sitara, in all her excitement, jumps in to give a warm hug to her friend while asking the audience to go watch the film, saying 'we love her'. Watch the video here.
Sitara and Sukriti were also seen together attending Dua Lipa's concert held in Mumbai last December. The duo got a chance to meet the popstar backstage and click fun, happy pictures with their idol. Sitara posted selfies of her, Sukriti and Aadya (the daughter of filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally) with Dua, with the quarter pouting away as they pose together.
Sitara's mother, actor Namrata Shirodkar also took pictures of them posing with Dua on her Instagram stories, calling her ‘just stunning’.
About Gandhi Thatha Chettu
Gandhi Tatha Chettu is a Telugu film which marks the debut of Sukriti Veni, daughter of Pushpa-fame filmmaker Sukumar. According to IMDb, the film is about "a young girl's non-violent campaign to protect her grandfather's beloved tree from demolition, inspired by Gandhi's philosophy of peaceful resistance." The film also marks the debut of director Padmavathi Malladi, who has collaborated with Sukumar on the Pushpa franchise as a writer. Gandhi Tatha Chettu hit the movie theatres on January 24 this year.
