With her OTT debut show now streaming and earning her praise, actor Krishna Mukerjee is in a happy space. The youngster feels there is lot to change in the society and if her character or project can do that bit, she will be the happiest person.

“I have and will try always to take up roles that can be a bit of game changer for me and influence youngsters in a way where they learn something better to move forward. If I am able to convey anything good to the society then that will surely make me feel on the top —that I am able to do justice with my craft,” says Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Naagin 3 actor.
Having started with TV five years back, followed by back-to-back shows, Mukherjee feels it’s time for her to do relatable content.
“Content on television is far too dramatised. Now, I wish to do less drama, less make-up and be someone who is extremely relevant for the audience. That’s the reason that along with my TV daily I decided to try hand at OTT. And trust me, working on the weekly series Life Navrangi was an absolutely exhilarating experience for me. Web as a space is so different, less drama and more of real content based on things that are happening around us.”
Talking shooting her web series and real locations in MP, she adds, “We got to shoot in real locations in Bhopal. We met the locales and understood their way of living. That has been skillfully projected in our series. The way our series has been received it made our entire team absolutely overwhelmed. I just want to do more web shows.”
Currently, Mukerjee is busy with her TV daily while exploring web. “With an on-going show Shubh Shagun, I am hardly left with much time to look out for other content. But, me being an explorer by nature, I can go far to find out ways to try and experiment with something really different. It a short life and being an actor, I want to try all mediums and get to characters that are exceptionally challenging,” says actor who has been part of shows like Jhalli Anjali and Twist Wala Love.
