Deepika Padukone’s first pictures from Cannes 2018 are here and she’s looking both comfortable and chic. The best combo ever. See her put-together, yet incredibly comfortable and breathable shirt dress here.

Deepika Padukone knows how to make an entrance. When the Padmaavat actor touched down in Cannes on Thursday, she wore a not-so-basic oversized gingham shirt dress from Maison Margiela.

Deepika’s black leather ankle boots, matching leggings and a black tote bag accented her eclectic, playful 70’s-inspired sky blue cotton shirt dress, which came with a checked-trim. The avant-garde, deconstructed style featured an off-the-moment boxy silhouette with dropped shoulder seams and a curved fluid hem. The dress is selling at £634 (57,850).

A shirt dress can be in both loose or tight silhouette, as well as short or long hemlines. It is cool for summer and, like, Deepika, you can always throw on tights under them for extra comfort, while travelling.

Deepika’s shirt dress look felt like a marked departure for Deepika, whose travel wardrobe generally consists of track pants and oversized jackets. Soft curls and a natural makeup finished Deepika’s airport look for a stylish start to Cannes.
