Cristiano Ronaldo has enjoyed a magnificent time in 2017. Recently, the Real Madrid and Portugal football star made headlines by winning his fifth Ballon D’Or award, a feat that helped him equal Lionel Messi’s record. Ronaldo helped Real Madrid win the Club World Cup.

Fresh from his on-field success, Ronaldo is now spending some time away from the game but he is still able to grab the eyeballs. On Monday, Ronaldo featured in an adorable family picture along with his girlfriend and four children.

The picture, which was posted by Ronaldo’s significant other Georgina Rodriguez on her official Instagram account, has taken the social media by the storm since then, receiving more than 7 million likes so far.

The picture shows Ronaldo smiling in the company of Rodriguez and his children including the seven-year old Cristiano junior, who is known to have expressed an interest in stepping into the shoes of his celebrated father.

Ronaldo will now square off against Messi when Real Madrid take on Barcelona in a La Liga El Clasico on December 23. With the football world still divided as to who between Ronaldo and Messi is the best footballer of this generation, but the El Clasico encounter provides another opportunity to two greats to showcase their skills and strengthen their respective claims to the No. 1 tag .
