Adrien Brody could face Gerard Butler's vengeful wrath
The two movie stars could face off in Motor City. According to Variety, Adrien Brody is currently finalizing the terms of the deal, which would have him replace Gary Oldman as the villain.
Brody, who earned an Oscar in 2008 for his performance in The Pianist, will portray a criminal who, having successfully framed the film's hero (Butler), becomes his target when the latter gets out of jail.
Production should start in mid-September in Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to hit theaters in the spring of 2013, according to Variety.
