Director Steven Spielberg is working on the fourth Jurassic Park movie and is adamant that the new film will be an improvement on the last instalment. The 64-year-old’s 1993 monster hit with Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, based on the book by Michael Crichton, spawned two sequels, reported Contactmusic.com.
Before Crichton’s book was published, many studios had already begun bidding to acquire the picture rights. Spielberg and Universal Studios, acquired them in 1990.
Spielberg stepped away from the camera, and acted only as the executive producer on the last film, 2001’s Jurassic Park, which saw Neill return to the dinosaur franchise.

"The screenplay is being written by Mark Protosevich. I’m hoping that will come out in the next couple of years. We have a better story for IV than we had for III," Spielberg said.
