Tamim Iqbal scored the first century of the tournament and struck a brilliant 166-run partnership with Mushfiqur Rahim, who himself hammered a solid 79, to take Bangladesh to 305/6. In reply, the hosts reached home with eight wickets and 16 balls to spare with Joe Root scoring an unbeaten 133.
