BSF jawan injured in Pakistani sniper fire on LoC

The incident occurred around 6:15 pm at a forward location, opposite Pakistan’s ‘Mohra’ post.

A BSF jawan was on Monday injured in sniper firing by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in the Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

A sniping attempt took place around 6.15 pm from the Pakistani’s Mohra OP, an intelligence officer said.

Two shots were fired at the Indian post which hit BSF constable S Ramachari who sustained injuries to his forearm and abdomen .

His condition is reportedly stable and he has been taken to a garrison hospital.
