The continuing disruptions have resulted in hundreds of IndiGo passengers being stranded at airports across the country, with delays and cancellations affecting the airline's network for the fifth consecutive day.

DGCA on Friday provided a raft of exemptions to crisis-hit IndiGo to help normalise its operations. Apart from the Flight Duty Time Limitations exemptions, the regulator has provided certain other relaxations that will help IndiGo have more pilots for duty.

In an X post, Rahul Gandhi attributed the recent disruptions in the airlines to a monopoly in the aviation sector, demanding "fair competition" in the market.
