Petrol, diesel prices in India on August 10. Check fuel rates in your city
Petrol and diesel prices have remain unchanged for the 81st straight day now. Andaman and Nicobar Island's capital Port Blair is selling the cheapest petrol and diesel while in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar fuel is the costliest.
The petrol and diesel prices for Wednesday are out. Except Maharashtra, the fuel prices in several states including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat have remained unchanged for the 81st day. The prices of crude oil is still below $100 per barrel. Brent crude oil now costs $96.22 per barrel while WTI costs $90.38 per barrel.
After Maharashtra cut VAT on fuel prices, petrol and diesel is now expensive in Rajasthan. Petrol and diesel cost ₹113.49 per litre and ₹98.24 per litre in Rajasthan's Sriganganagar.

The cheapest petrol and diesel are available at Port Blair costing ₹84.1 per litre and ₹79.74 per litre respectively.
On May 21, the Centre had cut central excise duty on petrol by ₹8 per litre and on diesel by ₹6 per litre. Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the move will reduce the price of petrol by ₹9.5 per litre and diesel by ₹7 per litre.
“It will have a revenue implication of around ₹1 lakh crore per year for the government,” the finance minister said in a series of tweets.
