Security intensified at BJP offices in Delhi after Special Cell receives inputs of possible terror attacks

The security has been beefed up at BJP offices in Delhi on Saturday evening after an alert was received regarding possible terror threats, sources told HT.
The security was intensified near the BJP Delhi office and the party headquarters at the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in central Delhi.
The development comes even as the capital was put on high alert following intelligence inputs indicating a possible terror threat, PTI reported.
This prompted the Delhi Police and other security agencies to intensify vigil across several sensitive locations, the news agency cited sources as saying.
The security was intensified at the BJP headquarters on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg and nearby government establishments. The police put up additional deployment of armed personnel, barricading and intensified vehicle checks.

"Police have been directed to maintain strict vigil on suspicious movements, unattended objects and vehicles parked in sensitive zones," the sources cited above said.
