About 65 per cent of polling was reported in the 16 polling booths in seven Assembly seats in Chhattisgarh where re-polling was held on Tuesday.
There was no report of any untoward incident even as re-polling was also held in Naxal infested Mohla-Manpur constituency.
Officials with state election office informed that one booth in Abhanpur constituency registered highest polling of 83 per cent.
Bilaigarh registered 62 per cent, Bhatgaon 63 per cent, Pathalgaon 70 per cent, Katghora 66 per cent and Kasdol 60 per polling.
Re-polling was necessitated as excess voting was reported in these 16 booths.
About 50 per cent voters had exercised their franchise in 33 booths under seven Assembly booths in Bastar division on Monday.
Voting was held in Chhattisgarh in two phases.
In the first phase 39 seats went for voting on November 14 and in the second phase 51 seats went for voting on November 20. Counting of votes will be held on December eight.
