Dry weather in Mumbai

After heavy rains Mumbai is back to normalcy, the Indian Meteorological Department has however predicted possibility of heavy rains with strong gusty winds.

Dry weather continued in the metropolis for the second day on July 3 allowing citizens to reach work on time, with rail and road traffic remaining normal in almost all parts.

The financial capital limped back to normalcy after heavy rains paralysed rail, road and air traffic on July 3.

The Indian Meteorological Department has however predicted possibility of heavy rains with strong gusty winds in the city and its suburbs in next 24 hours.

The weather bureau has also warned fishermen not to venture into the sea, which is likely to be rough.

About 18 mm rainfall has been recorded at the Colaba station since July1 night while Santacruz station recorded 63 mm rainfall.
