Faisal Iqbal is a middle-order batsmen for Pakistan. Being Javed Miandad's nephew, he was brought under a lot of criticism for being induced into a Test arena so soon.

But he proved everybody wrong with an aggressive run-a-ball 83 in the first Test against Australia in Colombo in 2002-03. Besides that he has not lived to his reputation and not used his potential to the fullest.

Though, the fighting spirit that Iqbal showed suggests that he is destined for bigger things.
